For normal use, metal gratings provide sufficient slip resistance.
In applications with an increased danger of slipping or accidents due to the use of slippery substances such as dirt, oil, fat, water, ice, foodstuffs, etc., flooring must meet stricter slip resistance requirements.
To achieve greater slip resistance, MEA offers gratings with serrated bearing and/or cross bar surfaces.
Slip resistance assessment groups R11 or R12 are available upon request. A corresponding test certificate can be requested as well.
